I ordered two bowls of chao plus fried donuts to go with it. The service was fast, and all dishes came out at the same time. The plates and bowls used are also very cute and well insulated :)

Food is Porridge taste great.wanton fried rice pork is so delicious. And the prices are so cheap.A lot of servings for the plate.

We have not been to this restaurant for quite some time. We decided to order take out for lunch on a Saturday. Phone in order was quick and food were ready for pick up while restaurant was quite busy. Both items we ordered were good. The grilled pork with rice noodles and the turmeric, dill fish items were packed nicely with all fresh lettuces, herbs and sauces. My only concern was the price for the fish dish was $26, which I think is a bit high for the dish. Other than that, we enjoyed our lunch.

Canton Restaurant has been a staple in the Viet community in SoCal ever since I was a kid. This is THE place to get your favorite porridge, but if it's your first time you have to try their fish porridge. It hits the spot every time, especially on a cold day or if you're feeling under the weather. Another popular dish you need to try if it's your first time here is their Cha Ca Thang Long (Dill Tumeric Fish). A great dish to share with friends where you combine all the ingredients into a lettuce wrap to dip in fish sauce. Honorable mentions go to their fail safe Beef Chow Fun, an easy dish for anyone and even better if you have the munchies. Same goes for their Deep Fried Chow Mein which uses a different noodle from the other places making it lighter and crispier if you're looking for all the textures. Lastly their House Special Fried Rice is just simply solid. Once you've had legit fried rice like this, Panda's version just becomes unedible. Their customer service has always been quick and friendly and a big shout out to Mike who always knows the best food suggestions. Either pickup or dine in I highly recommend giving this place a visit if you're ever in the area.

Nice servers. Chao ca is delicious and served in cute barrels. They certainly know how to make the best Chao (rice porridge).

I love this restaurant! It definitely has a hole in the wall feel. They specialize in Cantonese style rice porridge and have all the classic flavors. I get the fish porridge and I love how delicious and comforting it is. The portion sizes are generous. And make sure you order the Chinese donut which goes perfectly with porridge. They also do take out orders. And the price can't be beat! But beware, they only take cash!

Came in today for lunch and we loved everything that we ordered. The chicken porridge was so comforting, but I gotta admit that the fish porridge is truly amazing. It was very flavorful and the ginger elevates the dish even more. We also paired the porridge with the Chinese donuts and I can dream of this combination all day. The salty fish fried rice was very tasty and so was the #38 that we took some to go. Definitely worth the visit and would love to come back here when we're around.

Really delicious Cantonese Vietnamese food. I have been coming to this restaurant for many years because it never disappointed with 2 dishes. I love their porridge ( Cháo Cá) Surprisingly, even though they use tilapia or catfish (I'm not sure which), I didn't taste any of that fishy taste. Another must try is their Dill Turmeric Fish, ( Chả cá Thăng Long) delicious and delightful Everything was excellent. Parking lot is large but shared with a lot of other businesses in the plaza,but for sure you can find it around. Cash only !
